Red Velvet Earthquake Cake Recipe

Since you’re using minimal ingredients to make this red velvet recipe and the notes are super easy to follow, you’re going to be stunned at how quick this is! It’s so good to enjoy right after letting the cake cool completely! You can even top with a tiny bit of powdered sugar as well.

Red Velvet Earthquake Cake Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Red Velvet Cake mix
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Shredded Coconut
  • Chopped Pecans
  • 1 container of Cheesecake Icing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Add the cake mix to a bowl and make the batter according to what the box says.
  2. Spray the bottom of a cake pan (9X11) with non stick spray. Add 2 cups of chocolate chips to the bottom. Sprinkle the chopped pecans and coconut on top. Pour the cake mix on top of that.
  3. Add the icing in spoonfuls all over the top of the cake mix batter.
  4. Use a butter knife and swirl the icing around.
  5. Put in the oven and bake for 35 minutes. Let the cake cool for 25 minutes. Serve.
  6. You can add extra toppings of nuts, coconut, and chocolate chips.
