Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies

Since you’re using a cake mix for this recipe, you don’t even have to add in the red food coloring! This simple brownie recipe is fast, easy, and done in less than 45 minutes of time. Talk about a simple way to create a fast and delicious dessert.

Once I add the first cup of the batter in the pan, my boys are ready and waiting for them to be done! Luckily, they cook quickly and they don’t have to wait very long!

How do you know when brownies are cooked all the way through?

The best way to test is to do the toothpick test. Insert a clean toothpick into the center and remove it. If the toothpick comes out clean without any brownie batter on it, they’re ready to be pulled from the oven.

How do you keep brownies from sticking to the pan?

Having a prepared pan is key! You can use non-stick spray before adding in the batter and that will help with removing them once they’re baked all the way through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box of Red Velvet cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Cup(s) of water
  • ½ Cup(s) of vegetable oil or oil of your choice
  • 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the cake mix and eggs, oil, and water in a bowl.
  • Use a different bowl and mix the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar.
  • Spray the muffin pan with spray and then add in 1 T of the brownie batter. Use a different spoon and put 1 tsp of the cream cheese mixture on top of that. Grab a clean toothpick and swirl the mixture.
  • Put in the oven and bake for 12 minutes.
