Once you add root beer into the large bowl and mix it with the rest of the ingredients, the flavor just takes over from there! I’ve heard that you can use root beer extract to get that root beer flavor, but I want to add the soda!

Once I put the cupcakes on the rack to cool completely, my boys know that their jobs are coming up. They get to add the frosting and decorate the cupcakes which is something that they love to do!

Do I need to use cupcake liners?

If you don’t want the cupcakes to stick to the cupcake pan, you do! Why risk losing some of that cupcake goodness by leaving it stuck to the pan when you don’t have to?!
