Fun ways to use this printable:

Make sure that you think outside the box here on ways that the kids can use this printable! While it’s easy to use them as they are, there are so many other opportunities, too!

Use it inside and outside

There are no rules when it comes to doing a scavenger hunt! Have the kids find the colors inside the house and then move outside to find more colors as well!

This is a great way to keep them active and moving and look for colors all over the place. It’s also great for showing that the world is made up of tons of colors!

Have them draw what they find

You can easily extend the scavenger hunt by picking a few things for the kids to draw. Before starting tell them that they’re going to draw the red item and the yellow item that they find. That way, they know that they need to be prepared to draw what they see so that they don’t forget!

Learning Printables and Activities

These are excellent resources for kids! They’ll love being a part of the learning process from start to finish.

Add to the scavenger hunt

There is always more room and more colors to add to the hunting! If there isn’t a color listed, have the kids create a space on the sheet for that color, color it in, and then go and find it! This is a fun way to help with their critical thinking skills as well!

There are always ways that you can take a fun printable or fun idea and make a go of it! Have a blast!
