I tried and work pretty good except top collapsed a bit at rhe end. All ingredients were fresh. Any tips?
Thank you for your comment on my blog post about the Easiest Breadmachine Sandwich Bread! I’m glad to hear that the recipe worked well for you, but I understand your concern about the top collapsing a bit at the end. There are a few tips that might help prevent bread collapse in a bread machine.
Firstly, make sure you’re using fresh yeast that hasn’t expired and hasn’t been exposed to moisture, heat, or light. Old or stale yeast can affect the bread’s rise and structure. Secondly, check the water content in your dough. Too much water can result in a wet dough that may collapse during baking. Ensure that you’re using the appropriate amount of water for the recipe.
Additionally, consider the size of the bread pan in relation to the amount of dough you’re using. Using a larger pan for a smaller amount of dough can lead to collapse. Lastly, avoid opening the lid during the preheating and baking cycle, as this can cause a loss of heat and affect the bread’s rise.
I hope these tips help you achieve a perfectly risen loaf in your bread machine next time. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Happy baking!
