Easy Blueberry Crumble Dessert Recipe
This easy Blueberry Crumble Dessert Recipe is perfect for any time of the year.
Ingredients
- Fresh Blueberry Filling
- 3 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup lemon juice if fresh zest and use this as well
- 1/2 cup sugar use less if you like a tarter flavour
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- Crumble Topping
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold
- 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
Pre-heat the over to 375F.
Blueberry Crumble Filling
Lightly grease a pie dish.
Add in the washed fresh blueberries.
Pour over the lemon juice, sugar and add a pinch of ground cinnamon.
Mix together.
Crumble Topping Mix
In a bowl mix together the sugar and the flour.
Add in the unsalted butter cubed to make it easier to mix.
Using your fingertips mix together the crumble topping ingredients until you have a breadcrumb-like texture.
Cooking the Crumble
Pour the crumble topping over the blueberries.
Level out and make sure that it goes to the edge.
Place in the center of the oven for between 25 and 35 minutes. Until golden brown.
Remove and allow to cool slightly.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
