Once you mix the dry ingredients and form the cookie dough ball, it’s literally pretty much ready to bake! Drop by spoonfuls on your cookie sheet and be as patient as possible while the cookies bake up perfectly golden in the oven. While patriotic sprinkles add a fun look to these cookies, don’t forget that you want to add in the chocolate chips, too!

Since my boys are cookie hounds, they’re always asking for these cookies. With them being so quick and easy to make, I literally can’t, so no! (plus that means that I get to snack on them as well and enjoy in the treat!)

What if I don’t have patriotic sprinkles?

Don’t fret. You can easily improvise and use red food coloring and blue food coloring to add some color super easy. The patriotic sprinkles are really fun and add to the look, but you have options on other ways to add those red, white, and blue colors.
