Do truffles have to be stored in the fridge?

Since there is cream cheese in this recipe, they’ll need to be kept nice and chilled in the fridge while you’re waiting to eat them.

Grinch OREO Cookie Balls Recipe

These Oreo balls are so fast and simple to make!


  • 1 package Oreo Cookies
  • 1 package of softened cream cheese
  • 16 ounces of candy melts
  • Sprinkles


Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.

Put the Oreos in the food processor and break them apart into crumbs.

Cut the cream cheese into chunks and add to the Oreos. Pulse until mixed well.

Make the mixture into 1-inch balls and make it smooth.

You can put them in the freezer for a bit before decorating if you'd like. It does make it easier.

Melt the chocolate according to the package directions. Dip the balls into the chocolate and put them on the cookie sheet. Add sprinkles.

Put the balls in the fridge for 1 hour to firm.
