Turtle Cupcakes Recipe

I love this recipe because it’s a bit of a shortcut. Let’s be honest… Making cupcakes from a flour mixture isn’t hard but it takes a lot more time. And right now – I don’t have time for that! This is why I make this cake mix recipe and all I have to worry about is scraping down the sides of the bowl so that I don’t miss any of the simple goodness.

My boys beg me to make these cupcakes and I do so quite often. How can I not? The flavor and texture are what make these stand out far above the rest! If you love turtle candy, you’re going to love these easy turtle cupcakes!

Can you change up the flavor of the cake mix?

Absolutely! While this simple cupcake recipe calls for a chocolate cake mix, you can easily use a yellow cake mix or a white cake mix as well. The more often you change it up, the more often you can make this simple dessert!
