To get the perfect temperature, using a meat thermometer is a must. This is the best way that you can check the internal temperature of the grilled beef tenderloin so that you don’t have to guess the cook time. 

What is the best internal temperature to cook this grilled tenderloin?

The easiest way to cook the perfect beef tenderloin roast is to check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. The reading should be 145 degrees for medium indicating that the whole tenderloin is cooked and ready to take off the grill. 

Be sure to check the other temperature options for varied desired doneness like rare, medium rare, etc.

Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce beef tenderloin steaks
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon freshly crushed pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating the George Foreman grill and getting it hot.
  2. Next, take and wrap the bacon slices around each of the steaks. Once that is done, you're going to season with the garlic powder, pepper, parsley, and salt.
  3. After seasoning, take and put the steaks on the George Foreman grill and shut the lid. Make certain to watch your timer and cook the steaks for 5 minutes to get them to medium-rare. If you want medium, cook for 6 minutes for medium, and cook for 7 minutes for medium-well.
  4. Once the steaks are cooked how you like, take them off the grill and give them 10 minutes to rest before eating.
