Unicorn Funfetti Bars

It’s hard to believe that the two main ingredients to this recipe are white chocolate chips and a cake mix. This just might be the easiest bar recipe that I’ve ever made – and I have no plan on stopping anytime soon.

The boys in the house are pretty happy every time that I whip up this dessert as well. They line up and wait “patiently” for it to be done baking in the oven. Don’t they know that the cook always gets the first bite?!

Why does my oven cooking time take longer than directed?

As long as you’re taking the steps to preheat the oven, the cooking time should be very close to what the directions state.

If you don’t preheat oven to 350, you’re going to have a much longer cooking time because the oven didn’t have the chance to get to the proper temperature.
