Instructions to Make 4th of July Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars

Start by preheating your oven and lining a baking dish with parchment paper. Press half of the cookie dough into the bottom to form a soft, golden crust.

Next, mix up your cheesecake filling—blend softened cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Pour it evenly over the cookie base and sprinkle in some patriotic color.

Crumble the remaining cookie dough on top and sprinkle with more red, white, and blue. Bake until the edges are golden and the center is just set. Let it cool completely, then chill before slicing.

Dessert Tips and Tricks

  • Use room-temperature cream cheese for a lump-free filling.
  • Don’t overbake—a slight jiggle in the center means creamy perfection.
  • Line your pan with parchment for easy removal and clean cuts.
  • Let them chill fully for best texture and flavor.
