Mango Salsa Recipe

I really like this recipe, a lot. I’ve always been a fan of anything that is a bit sweet without a ton of artificial sugars. Once I diced the mango and mixed it with the red onions, I knew that this was going to be a hit before I even took a bite.

This is one of those recipes that just screams summer because of all the added fresh ingredients. It’s perfect with all the delicious flavors and literally tastes absolutely amazing every time you dip into it. The second I cut a mango the boys always ask if I’m making up this delicious dish!

What seasoning can you add to enhance the flavor of salsa?

When it comes to seasoning salsa, there are a few different directions you can take.

  • If you want to keep it traditional, you can stick to the classic combination of onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice.
  • For a more Tex-Mex style salsa, you can add in some garlic, chili powder, and cumin.
  • Or, if you’re looking for something with a bit more kick, you can add in some jalapeños or habaneros.

No matter what direction you choose to go in, be sure to taste your salsa as you go and adjust the seasoning until it’s just right.

With a little trial and error, you’ll be sure to find the perfect blend of flavors to suit your taste.
