But back to these fun jungle theme party favors for baby showers…I made two easy-to-make designs that are both great options for favors. You can fill the tiny take-out boxes with the candies or you can find something larger like a gift card or whatnot to put in the bigger boxes.

And with flexibility like that, you have so many great options for the favors inside the boxes that it kind of makes me excited to share just how awesome these gift boxes are for your jungle animal party. I fully intend to put a few little surprises inside some of the boxes for the little kids that will be at the shower like jungle tattoos or stickers–along with some treats!

So, let’s get these cute favor boxes ready to stuff!

Other Options for Jungle Favor Boxes:

Just in case making favor boxes isn’t in your wheelhouse, I pulled together some alternative options that will totally go with the jungle party theme.

Necessary Materials to Make Your Own Jungle Party Favor Box:

If, however, you’re into making your favor boxes–they’re a blast to put togetherand won’t take hardly any time. You only really need three things:

Oh, and my Cricut and the light grip mat. I needed that, too.

Necessary Tools:

To be honest, making these boxes is a pretty easy project, mostly because it’s so simple to print/cut/fold. All the hard work is done by these two tools:

Tips and Tricks:

Even if this is your first time EVER to make a project with print and cut Cricut capabilities, I’ve got some tips you might appreciate.

  • Always print your boxes at 100%. They’re already really small, but only just big enough to fit on the Cricut. So, don’t resize. Trust me.
  • Make sure to smooth your card stock paper onto the mat all the way across the mat. The last thing you need to deal with is for the cut to be in the last stages and the paper shifts then the cutting machine destroys your print.
  • Fold along the dotted lines and your boxes will basically make themselves.
  • You can ape the bottom of the smaller boxes, if desired, but because of the design and because we’re using card stock paper, if you press the folds nicely, the box will stay closed all on its own, unless you put something super heavy in it.
  • Use a credit card or a stiff piece of cardboard to press your folds into sharp lines, to help the boxes stay closed
