Sharing is caring!

I love these Slow Cooker Pork Tacos! It’s my favorite carnitas recipe to make. There’s nothing quite like the taste and flavor of a perfectly cooked taco. I’m a huge fan of taco recipes and I always love making up this one in the crockpot. Since it’s slow cooked, you know it is going to be a great recipe that is tender and juice!

I used to always make my boneless pork shoulder meat in the pressure cooker, but I love how tender it is this way. Makes it super simple to shred the pork. Get ready to love this simple taco recipe! Perfect for Taco Tuesday!

The biggest thing to keep in mind that as long as you cook the meat right, the rest is just all about the toppings and corn tortillas. We love to set out a toppings bar and just let everyone dive right in.

Slow Cooker Pork Tacos

If you use your slow cooker a lot, you know that it’s a low and slow process. But the end result of flavor? Totally worth it! Sometimes I’ll add some extra garlic powder or chili powder to the pork butt to change up the flavor and taste. Just depends on what I feel like that day!

Everyone in my family loves tacos so this is a no-brainer meal for adding to my meal plan. The second I tell them that this is on the menu, you better believe that no one is late for arriving at the dinner table.

Why is my pork dry?

You may not have enough liquid in the slow cooker for the pork. Add a bit more water or even some orange juice or apple juice as well. Juices are a great way to add some extra moisture to the meat!
