Memorial Day is this week. It is the day that we American are to Honor and Remember our fallen Military.
In additional to our regular printable menu plan and shopping list, I have also included several Memorial Day resources (including a yummy snack) for you and your children this week.
Week Twenty Two Menu Plan:

Breakfast
Monday- Cheesy Sausage Biscuits at It’s Yummi
Tuesday- Yogurt Cups with granola and on-hand fruit
Wednesday- Make the night before, these Banana Flax Protein Breakfast Cookies from Carrots ‘N’ Cake add a yogurt smoothie or glass of juice for a quick grab-n-go breakfast.
Thursday – Hawaiian Rolls breakfast sliders are so easy to make. Simply slice the rolls, top with your favorite breakfast toppings, ham/egg/cheese, or sausage/egg/sprinkle of Parmesan, or bacon & egg. The choice is yours. This is a great way to use up whatever breakfast meat you have on hand.
Friday – 3 Minute Breakfast Sandwich at 3 Boys & a Dog
Saturday – Orange Rolls at Sweet Lizzy T
Sunday – Croissants with berry jam, & breakfast ham.
Lunch
Monday- BLT Bagel (simply fry up crispy bacon, or bake in oven until crispy, add lettuce, tomato to a bagel), with Carrot Slices & Cherry Tomatoes, and Grapes
Tuesday- Chicken Nugget Bento Box lunch, with cheese stick & pudding cups Plus, add some sliced cucumbers for a crispy veggie.
Wednesday- Spinach & Bacon Mini Quiches from Momables with blueberries and strawberries, plus sliced bell peppers.
Thursday – Butterfly Bento Box Lunch from 3 Boys & A Dog
Friday – Meatballs, Pita Pockets, Hummus, make for a delicious sandwich that your kids can build. Place all the components separately into their lunch box, and then add some Snow peas for a crisp, delicious, and healthy muncher.
Saturday – Make Your Own Family Pizzas using Flat Out Pizza Crusts (affiliate link) and your favorite pizza sauce & toppings.
Sunday – Meatball Lasagna Roll-Ups from Cake Whiz
Monday- Bow Tie Pasta Chicken Alfredo with Peas (Make & Reserve extra bow tie pastas for a pasta salad in Thursday’s lunch).
Tuesday- Crispy Baked Pork Chops, from Yummy, Healthy, Easy with Broccoli Spears & Brown Rice or Quinoa
Wednesday- Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken with Veggies from TipBuzz
Thursday – Spaghetti and Meatballs (use frozen pack) with favorite jarred Marinara Sauce and a frozen garlic bread. (When your pasta water is hot, cook a few lasagna noodles first for lunch tomorrow, remove and then cook spaghetti noodles).
Friday – Crock Pot Mac & Cheese (Use up any leftover cheese) with a yummy Corn Bread or your favorite corn muffin mix (affiliate link)
Saturday – Baked Potato Bar, drizzle potatoes in olive oil, sprinkle with salt & pepper, wrap in foil and place in crock pot on high for 5-6 hours until soft and tender. Then pull out your family’s favorite toppings or use up any leftovers from the week. Ideas: broccoli, cheese, sour cream, bacon, ham, ground beef, sausage, peas, tomatoes. Let each family member build their own potato.
Sunday – 4 Ingredient Chicken & Rice Casserole at Spend with Pennies
