Crazy Good Instant Pot Banana Split Cheesecake
This Instant Pot Banana Split Cheesecake is so good! And yes, it really does taste like a banana split. This is my go-to cheesecake recipe when I’m craving a bit of a throwback to the cheesecakes that my mom and grandma used to make. Make certain to check out our other easy dessert recipes as well.
I like to add some extra cool whip (or whipped cream as I call it) on top and then add on a maraschino cherry as well. It really takes it to a whole new level of flavor and fun!
Since you’re going to be using your Instant Pot to create this dessert recipe, your prep time for making it is going to be between 20 minutes to 30 minutes of time. That’s a short amount of work to get a homemade cheesecake recipe that tastes this good!
Instant Pot Banana Split Cheesecake
The biggest thing to keep in mind when using your Instant Pot is that you want to use the parchment paper up the sides of the pan so it doesn’t stick as well as follow the directions for a natural release as well. And when you remove the cheesecake just be careful and let it cool before starting on any of the toppings.
I make a lot of cheesecakes in my Instant Pot and this one always gets requested time and time again. I love it just as much as my boys do but I let them usually have the bigger pieces!
How hard is it to switch to a graham cracker crust?
Not hard at all. Once you get the crackers all mashed up, you just want to be certain that you press it into the ban and up the sides, too.
This will allow for the cream cheese mixture to go into it nicely and set up as well. Some people don’t like a graham cracker crust and prefer to use a different method or even keep it crustless but that’s entirely up to you.

Why is my cheesecake cracked on top?
There are a couple of reasons that the top of your cheesecake might crack. You might need to slightly adjust the cooking time as it may crack if it’s overcooked.
You also might need to adjust the cups of water that you add as it can cause the cheesecake to have too much or even too little liquid needed as well.
