What type of chocolate can I use for s’mores?

Milk chocolate is the most common choice, but one could also use dark chocolate, white chocolate, or milk chocolate with almonds.

The choice of chocolate largely depends on an individual’s personal preference. Still, it is important to note that the chocolate should be in a form that will easily melt, hence why chocolate bars or small chocolate chips are commonly used.

Ultimately, the chocolate of choice will add its unique flavor and texture to a beloved treat that offers an unforgettable experience.

Ingredients

  • 8 whole graham crackers, halved
  • 8 regular size marshmallows
  • 4 chocolate bars, halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Grab the aluminum foil and lay out 8 pieces.
  3. Break the graham crackers in half and then add them onto the foil in a single layer.
  4. Add a piece of chocolate on top of each piece.
  5. Add a marshmallow on top of the chocolate.
  6. Put the other half of the graham cracker square on top.
  7. Wrap the s'more with the foil and place on the grill on indirect heat. Grill for 4-5 minutes or until the marshmallow has softened and the chocolate square has melted.
  8. Take off the grill carefully and serve.
