Hawaiian Pizza Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz pkg of cream cheese (softened)
- 14 oz jar of pizza sauce (about 2 cups)
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan (not the powdered stuff)
- 8 ounces of ham (chopped)
- 1 8-ounce can of diced pineapple, drained
- 1/4 cup finely diced purple onion
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Garnishes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Dippers
- Crackers
- Frito Scoops
- French Bread
- Melba Toast
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large bowl mix the cream cheese, pizza sauce, 1 cup of mozzarella, parmesan, onions, and garlic powder
- Put the mixture in a casserole dish or baking dish that has been lightly sprayed with no-stick cooking spray.
- Top (in this order) with remaining mozzarella, ham, then pineapple. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and a tint of brown.
- Let it cool just a little and serve with the cut pieces of Italian bread for dipping or Frito Scoops for crunch. This is awesome and a great dish to serve at a certain large football function or potluck event.
