While this does have a lot of Irish foods on the platter, you can mix and match to add whatever you want. Have fun with it!

Among the popular Irish foods is the traditional Irish stew, a warming concoction typically made with lamb or mutton, potatoes, carrots, onions, and parsley.

Another staple is the iconic boxty, a potato pancake that’s been savored for generations. Soda bread, with its distinctive cross-shaped top, is a beloved Irish classic, often enjoyed with a pat of butter alongside a hot cup of tea.

The Full Irish Breakfast is also a renowned meal featuring sausages, bacon, eggs, black and white pudding, mushrooms, baked beans, and grilled tomatoes – a true feast to start the day!

Seafood, particularly salmon and cod, play a significant role in Irish cuisine, reflecting the country’s strong ties to its coastal waters.

For dessert, nothing quite compares to the decadent warmth of an Irish apple cake, often paired with a spoonful of fresh cream or custard. These dishes, steeped in tradition and flavor, beautifully showcase Ireland’s culinary spirit.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Pound of Sliced Corn Beef
  • 1 Pack Smoked Pork Sausage
  • 1 Bunch Green Grapes
  • 1 Sliced Cucumber
  • 1/2 Pound of Irish Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Pound of Small Potatoes
  • Soda Bread
  • Pretzel Nuggets
  • Cabbage Leaves
  • Cheese Dip

Instructions

  1. Clean the board, and all the fruits and vegetables. Slice the cucumbers.
  2. Slice the smoked sausage and place them in a frying pan on the stove on medium to low heat.
  3. Add a little bit of oil and brown the sausage on both sides. This will take about 10 minutes. Once done, set them to the side.
  4. Saute the potatoes by placing them in a pan with olive oil. Turn the stove to medium heat and let them cook for about 15 minutes. You can season them if you want.
  5. Cut the cheddar cheese into small squares and set them to the side.
  6. Cut the ends off the cabbage leaves with a clean knife and roll them up. If the leaves don't stay rolled, use a clean toothpick to hold them into place.
  7. Roll the slices of corned beef and again, use a toothpick if they don't stay rolled.
  8. To assemble the board, place the cheese squares in the middle of the board.
  9. Then place the rolled corned beef underneath the cheese and then put the cooked sausage above the cheese.
  10. Next, add the potatoes on one side of the sasuage and then put the cheese dip next to the blocks of cheese.
  11. Put quite a few slices of the soda bread behind the bowl of cheese dip.
  12. Add the rolled cabbage on each side of the board.
  13. Place the pretzel nuggets until the cabbage rolls on each side of the board, and then place the bunch of grapes opposite.
  14. Place the sliced cucumber on the open areas of the board.
  15. Serve.
