What other ingredients can be added to puppy chow?

The best part about making puppy chow is that you can change it up to taste and look however you want. This is why I make so many different varieties.

You can use different colored sprinkles, mini marshmallows, add candy bits, and more. If you want to try it, you can probably easily add it to the recipe!

Chopped nuts and chocolate chips or all different flavors are yummy, too! Don’t forget that the powdered sugar adds a ton of sweetness so you can add a few food items to the mix that aren’t coated with sugar and not have to worry about it being too sweet.

Do I have to store puppy chow in the fridge?

No, you don’t have to store puppy chow in the fridge. It’s versatile and can easily be left out at room temperature.

The biggest thing to remember about storing the puppy chow is that you need to store it in an airtight container. It can be kept in the fridge this way, but being airtight is key.

If you don’t put a lid on it, it will cause the cereal to become stale and loose it’s crunch. Sealing it in a bag or a container with a lid is the best way to store.

DAQs about Valentine White Chocolate Chex Mix Recipe:

Yes! You can substitute Chex cereal with alternatives like Rice Krispies or Crispix for a similar texture and crunch.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week to keep it fresh and crunchy.

Serve in festive Valentine-themed bowls, package in decorative treat bags as party favors, or use it as a topping for ice cream or desserts!
