Snowman Pretzels Recipe

Sharing is caring!

Creating memories with my kids in the kitchen during winter feels extra special! I recently discovered this Snowman Pretzels Recipe, which had us laughing and snacking all afternoon.

My kids couldn’t stop giggling at these happy snowman faces we made. What started as a simple pretzel snack became the most delightful holiday activity. And the results are adorable!

We’ve made these three times this week already, and the joy of decorating them never gets old. I love how each tiny snowman gets its personality with those sweet chocolate hats and cute carrot noses.

These treats are so irresistible that my family can’t help but sneak them off the cooling rack! The combination of salty pretzels and sweet chocolate makes them completely addictive.

You won’t believe how easy these are! I line up the pretzels on my baking sheet like little soldiers. The white candy melts get all warm and gooey in just two minutes. It’s seriously the perfect consistency!

My favorite part is adding those tiny peanut butter cup hats. They sit perfectly in one corner and make each snowman look so dapper!

Then comes the fun part—giving them personality with their faces. My kids and I take turns adding eyes and carrot noses. Sometimes, we get carried away and give them silly expressions!

I’ve learned to make extra because they disappear faster than snow on a sunny day!

What’s the best way to store these pretzel snowmen?

These treats stay fresh for about 1-2 weeks when stored properly. I keep mine in an airtight container at room temperature. Just make sure to layer them carefully, with wax paper in between, to prevent the decorative faces from sticking or smudging.

They’ll hold up great if you make them ahead for a party. However, avoid storing them in the refrigerator, as this can cause the chocolate coating to condense when brought back to room temperature.

Can I use different types of chocolate for the hats?

Absolutely! While I love using mini peanut butter cups, you can get creative with other chocolate toppers.

Dark chocolate squares, kisses, or even mini chocolate cookies work great for these snowman hats! Just make sure whatever you choose isn’t too heavy – you want it to stick nicely to the white candy melt base without sliding off.
