This Raspberry Almond Ice Cream is perfect for the hot summer weather. The cool and fruity taste served cold in a bowl or a cone is a perfect way to end the day. This is one of our favorite ice cream recipes and I’m so excited to be sharing it with you.

When it comes to sweetness, adding in the frozen raspberries really takes it over the top. Pair that up with the heavy cream and vanilla (or almond extract) and you’re going to love the taste of this easy raspberry ice cream.

Did I fail to mention that this is also a no churn raspberry almond ice cream recipe? Yep, that means it’s crazy simple to make as well.

All the ingredients just have to be added into a food processor to make the magic happen. There’s no sitting and stirring and working it a zillion times that other homemade ice cream recipes. Besides, who has time for that?

Since my boys eat a ton and have a sweet tooth, I love having this simple dessert recipe handy for them to dive into. (and I’m pretty certain that they like it as well!)

Can you use frozen raspberries in this recipe?

You sure can. I’ve used both frozen and fresh raspberries and they both turn out fine. I typically just buy whatever is on sale at the store and make it that way.

You could always make a batch both ways and have a taste test to see if anyone can tell the difference!

Can you use an ice cream maker for this no churn ice cream?

I’m assuming that you probably could but since it’s such a simple recipe, I’ve never tried. I love the fact that this ice cream mixture can be made easily at home without the need for an ice cream maker.

Raspberry Almond Ice Cream

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Additional Time: 6 hours
Total Time: 6 hours 5 minutes

You're going to love the refreshing taste of this Raspberry Almond Ice Cream.

Ingredients

  • • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • • 2 cups cold heavy cream
  • • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • • 1 pint raspberries, pureed
  • • ¼-½ cup chopped almonds

Instructions

    1.Start by adding the raspberries in a food processor for 15-20 seconds and pureeing them.
    2.Once that is done, take a mixer and mix the heavy whipping cream until thick. Then, you're going to pour in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, chopped almonds, and raspberries and fold it in carefully until the entire mixture is smooth.
    3.After it's smooth, take and spoon the ice cream into a freezer-safe container.
    4.Put it in the freezer for 5-6 hours or overnight. After the time has passed and it's time to serve, remove the container and let it sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes to soften before serving.
