Making this almond bacon cheese spread is a breeze. Mixing the ingredients together in a large bowl is literally the “hardest” part. I love the flavor of the added slivered almonds because they make the perfect outer layer of crunch.

Even though I make this for a lot of parties, my boys really love when I make this for our house, too. There’s no shame in double-dipping for us so we like to snack and dip and dip some more!

Can you use bacon bits instead of chopped bacon?

It’s really up to you. I love using chopped bacon because it’s softer in texture and taste. If you want to use bacon bits, you can but just be prepared that they’re going to add quite a bit of crunch.
