How do you achieve softened cream cheese?
You can put the cream cheese on your counter to get to room temp to achieve softened status. This should take about 30 minutes of time, or so.

Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake Dip
This Creamy Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake Dip is one of the easiest recipes you can make!
Ingredients
- 1 block cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 package of instant chocolate pudding mix
- ¼ cup of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- ⅓ cup of Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 jar maraschino cherries, without stems (10 ounces)
Instructions
- Mix together the cream, pudding mix, and powdered sugar.
- If you have a whisk attachment, use and beat for 30 seconds.
- Add in the cream cheese and blend.
- Drain the cherries and set aside a couple for the top of the dip.
- Add the cherries to the mixture and beat on low.
- Fold in the chocolate chips carefully.
- Put in a serving dish. Garnish with more chocolate chips and cherries.
- Serve!
