There’s a lot of yum to be enjoyed at a baseball party, not the least of which is this fun and easy baseball cookies recipe! Super quick to make and absolutely adorable, this is a recipe worth calling to the mound.

These cookies are fun and easy to make and are perfect for snacking! If you’re a fan of cookies, make certain to check out these yummy cookie recipes. We love eating cookies in our house!

But, if you’re here for more than just cookies – maybe you’re planning a full-on boy baby shower, take a look, there’s lots of fantastic baseball party ideas that you’re going to call your MVPs in a heartbeat.

Back to the cookies though and how decadently easy they are to make. You’re not going to even need a stand mixer or preheat your oven. Seriously – no rolling out the dough, making meringue powder – nothing.

So, put away your royal icing and let’s get making these simple baseball themed cookies!

Easy Baseball Cookies Recipe

I love a good cookie made with icing and powdered sugar icing and all that – but, frankly, I don’t have time to mess with all that.

These cookies are chocolate dipped OREO cookies. As simple as can be, they’re literally no-mess, no-fuss.

The kids can even help make them, if they’re so inclined (mine weren’t, but whatever) and so what if they’re not perfect – they’re tasty and you really can’t mess them up.

What’s the Best Way to Make Baseball Themed Dipped OREO Cookies?

Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with making a more complex cookie. But it I just don’t have time for all that – at least not this week.

Put away your piping bag or decorating bag and get the pre-made writing icing to make your baseball stitching. Heck, if you can find them (I couldn’t) use the pre-chocolate-covered OREO cookies.

Make this easy on your self.

This simple and easy baseball cookies recipe is super fun to make and seriously fits so well with a baseball baby shower theme!

Ingredients

  • 12 OREO Cookies
  • 2 cups White Candy Melts
  • Red Gel Writing Icing

Instructions

  1. Place the candy melts into a microwave-safe bowl and heat them per the package directions until the chocolate is smooth.
  2. Spread out a large piece of parchment paper on top of a cookie sheet. Dip each OREO cookie in the melted chocolate, gently shake off the excess chocolate, then place them on the parchment paper. I found this easiest to do with a fork.
  3. When all of the cookies are covered in the white chocolate, place the cookies into the freezer for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the cookies from the freezer, then, using your gel writing icing, draw a long line from one end of the cookie to the other on each side, with a little curve to it.
  5. Then go back over each large line with perpendicular tiny lines of red gel writing icing to make the stitching. Then enjoy!
