Reese’s Pieces Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 ¼ Cup(s) all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoon cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ Cup(s) 1 and ½ stick unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ Cup(s) light brown sugar
- ½ Cup(s) sugar
- 2 large eggs divided (1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ½ Cup(s) Reese’s Pieces candy regular size
- ½ Cup(s) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt, into a bowl.
- In a different bowl beat together the melted butter and sugars until mixed.
- Then add in an egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Blend well.
- Once down, slowly add in the dry ingredients. Blend well.
- Slowly fold in the Reese’s and chocolate chips.
- Move to plastic wrap and roll tightly and pop in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.
- Once done in the fridge and ready to bake, preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Put parchment paper on a baking sheet and put the dough on it in 1-2 tablespoon sizes.
- Make certain to space them out at least 1-inch apart.
- Bake for about 11 minutes or until the edges are lightly brown.
- Take out of the oven and let them rest for 7-10 minutes. They will be soft.
- Once they are cool, store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
