Reese's Pieces Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are going to be a hit for certain!

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup (1 and ½ stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, divided (1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Reese’s Pieces candy, regular size
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Add the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt, into a bowl.
  2. In a different bowl beat together the melted butter and sugars until mixed.
  3. Then add in an egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Blend well.
  4. Once down, slowly add in the dry ingredients. Blend well.
  5. Slowly fold in the Reese's and chocolate chips.
  6. Move to plastic wrap and roll tightly and pop in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.
  7. Once done in the fridge and ready to bake, preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  8. Put parchment paper on a baking sheet and put the dough on it in 1-2 tablespoon sizes.
  9. Make certain to space them out at least 1-inch apart.
  10. Bake for about 11 minutes or until the edges are lightly brown.
  11. Take out of the oven and let them rest for 7-10 minutes. They will be soft.
  12. Once they are cool, store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
