Start by preheating oven to 350 degrees and then gathering up the brown sugar, cream cheese, melted butter, cooking spray, and loaf pan. This recipe is quick and easy and ready in less than 30 minutes of time. Once you see that golden brown showing on the bread, the end is near! Don’t forget to reserve the cream cheese icing in a small bowl to have as an option to drizzle on top!
Making this has become a fourth of July tradition and one that my family loves. No matter how old they get, they still love pulling apart those biscuit pieces and gobbling up every bite. Makes this momma happy to still feed those hungry bellies!

Why is it called monkey bread?
Such a silly name, right? It’s actually based on how monkeys eat and pick through fur…they pick through their fur like we pick out the biscuit bites. So funny!
