I was inspired by “Easy At Home” blog to clean out my fridge. I didn’t realize how bad it had gotten until I took pictures. It is really amazing how different things look in pictures.

This is my freezer side of my fridge. I think it has gotten really bad. I try not to keep too much in here since I have a HUGE deep freeze that is nicely organized. But, I do tend to shove stuff in here when I am cooking. For example: if I pull a bag of chicken out of the deep freeze and don’t use it all for supper, instead of putting it back where it belongs, I stick it here. I know, I shouldn’t do that but in supper rush with three little ones, it is easier to shove than go all the way to my deep freeze. Consequently, I have to clean this one out regularly or it looks like this. I need to make it a habit to clean out the freezer side each week while cleaning out the fridge side.

This is the door of the freezer side. It isn’t really bad but that fish batter has been there for a few years. I guess I need to plan to use it or chunk it.

I got my fridge all cleaned out and finally found a minute to blog about it. I think it looks great… wonder how long it will stay this way?

My next project is to get my pantry cleaned out, but that is going to have to wait until I get back from Chicago. I simply have too much to do this week in preparation to worry about decluttering.
