Menu Plan Monday: Preparing for Thanksgiving

I am lucky in that I don’t have anyone coming to my house for Thanksgiving this year.  So, I do not have to spend the next few days scrubbing my home from top to bottom.  The good news is that you don’t either!

When company is coming and your house is a mess, don’t fret!  Start with the obvious places and worry about the other places later!  People do not need to go into your bedrooms to have a nice Thanksgiving Dinner!  They need your common areas and a bathroom, ONLY!

Simply click the image over there —> to open the full page of to do lists to get your common areas company ready!

Enlist the kids and the Spouse to knock out the tasks on this printable Company Ready To Do List and the house will look great for your Family and Friends!  You could even cut each list and have people draw for a room.  Make it fun and offer a prize.

I made a Free Thanksgiving Menu Planning Sheet for you last year. Be sure to access it to prepare for dinner this year!

I am so ready for Black Friday this year.  Not really for Thanksgiving, but I am ready to go shopping!  LOL!

Ok, on to my menu plan for this week:

MondayChili

Tuesday: Leftovers

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Thanksgiving Dinners – We are taking a Ham and Macaroni & Cheese.  We should also have Chicken & Dumplings, Turkey, Dressing, Stuffing, Sweet Potato Casserole, Pineapple Casserole, Corn, Green Beans, Potato Salad, and a smattering of desserts!  YUM! I think I might also make a batch of Irish Potato Candy to have on hand for this week.

Friday: Leftovers!
