How do I find fresh and ripe raspberries?

Raspberries are a nutritious and delicious summer fruit in most grocery stores and farmers’ markets. But how do you ensure you get the freshest and ripest raspberries possible?

Firstly, check for firmness and color. Raspberries should be firm and plump, not squishy or mushy, and have a bright red color.

Avoid berries that are bruised, moldy, or have a dull color. Also, smell the raspberries to ensure they have a sweet and fragrant aroma.

Finally, carefully examine the container for any signs of moisture or insects.

By following these tips, you can get the best raspberries possible for your next dessert or snack!
