What are fun table decorations for a Halloween dessert table?
The decorations are vital when setting up a Halloween dessert table that delights and spooks your guests. Think beyond the usual orange and black color scheme and incorporate elements like eerie, candle-lit lanterns, miniature pumpkins, and cobweb runners.
Add a touch of whimsy with themed platters adorned with ghost and bat motifs, and fill apothecary jars with colorful candies that mimic potion ingredients.
Remember to include fun DIY touches like witch hat centerpieces made from construction paper or spooky drink dispenser labels that read “Witch’s Brew” or “Vampire’s Blood.” These creative touches enhance the festive atmosphere and make your Halloween dessert table the night’s talk.

What if I don’t have candy eyeballs on hand?
If you don’t have candy eyeballs on hand, don’t worry! Many creative alternatives can still give your treats a spooky or fun look. You can use small marshmallows with a dot of chocolate or icing for the eyes, or try using chocolate chips, raisins, or even round cereal pieces like Cheerios.
You can directly pipe small dots of white and dark icing onto your treats for a more artistic touch. These substitutions save the day and can add a unique twist to your creations. The goal is to make your treats delicious and visually delightful, so feel free to experiment with what you have in your pantry.
