This Cookie Butter Popcorn Recipe is one of my favorites! I love how sweet and crunchy it is, all at once! And if you’ve ever been to Trader Joe then you’re no stranger to how awesome cookie butter truly is. That sweet candy coating paired with popcorn is one of my favorite recipes to make! All you need is just four simple ingredients to make this simple dessert popcorn recipe. How awesome and easy is that?!

Cookie Butter Popcorn Recipe

The biggest thing to keep in mind when you’re making this simple popcorn recipe is that you need to be stirring the whole time while you’re mixing the ingredients on the stove. This will keep it from burning and make it nice and smooth with a ton of great flavor.

You’re not going to believe how wonderful this tastes. My boys literally ask for this all the time and every time that we make it, we love having our own little party and celebration. It’s a fun way to share a treat that everyone can enjoy.

What happens is my mixture burns on the stove?

Unfortunately, if it burns, you’re going to have to throw it out and start all over again. That burn flavor isn’t something that you can easily get rid of.

Cookie Butter Popcorn Recipe

This cookie butter popcorn recipe is a sweet snack that everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of popped popcorn
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup Cookie Butter

Instructions

Pop the popcorn. Set aside.

Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray. Set aside.

Put the white sugar and corn syrup in a pan on the stove over medium heat. Stir the whole time until the sugar is dissolved. This should take about 4 minutes or so.

Add in the cookie butter and stir. Cook for one more minute of time then take off the heat.

Pour the cookie butter mixture over the top of the popcorn and stir.

Spread the popcorn out on the cookie sheet in a single layer and let it set up for about 4 hours.

Break up and serve.
