More Jalapeno and Cream Cheese Recipes:
- 2 x 8oz packages of cream cheese, softened
- 3-4 Jalapenos, Seeded and finely chopped.
- 1/2 a cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 a cup of chopped cooked bacon
- 1/2 a teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 a teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, half of the chopped jalapenos, half of the pecans, cheddar cheese, half of the bacon, seasonings, and Worcestershire sauce until thoroughly blended.
- Mix the remaining jalapenos, pecans, and bacon. Set aside.
- Using plastic wrap, shape the cheese mixture into a ball. Transfer to a serving plate. Press the remaining jalapeno mixture into the sides.
- Refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
- Serve with crackers or vegetable dippers.
Make sure your cream cheese has softened before starting this recipe. It may take about an hour for this to happen.
Don't use pre-shredded cheese as it won't combine well with the other ingredients to make the cheese ball. Make sure you shred the cheese yourself.
