Virgin Top Shelf Margarita Recipe

If you follow my recipes, you know I’m crazy about making drinks for kids and adults. I call them mocktails because they’re like cocktails but without any adult-only beverages.

When it comes to creating fun drinks, this is a good one to try! You can easily make this for parties, sleepovers, baby showers, and summer BBQs – and everyone can enjoy it!

My boys love it when I add a ton of ice to theirs because it’s super cold and frosty! The fun part about making your mocktail margarita is that you can make it just like you want.

What is a fun garnish for a mocktail margarita?

One delightful option is riming the glass with colorful, flavored salt or sugar. Start by dipping the rim in lime juice and then in the salt or sugar. Next, add a vibrant twist by skewering slices of citrus fruits such as lime, lemon, and orange and positioning them on the glass’s edge.

To enhance the visual appeal further, include a sprig of fresh mint or a few edible flowers. These playful touches make your mocktail margarita more visually enticing and add a burst of complementary flavors, ensuring a memorable drinking experience.

How do I turn a alcohol-free margarita into a frozen margarita?

Once your mix is ready, pour it into a blender with a generous amount of ice. Blend the mixture high until the ice is completely crushed and the drink achieves a smooth, slushy consistency.

For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding fresh fruit like strawberries or mangoes to the blender. Serve the frozen margarita in a chilled glass with a salted rim and garnish with a lime wedge.

Enjoy this delightful and refreshing beverage that captures all the zesty flavors of a classic margarita without alcohol.
