How are egg noodles different than regular noodles?
Egg noodles, as the name suggests, are made with eggs in addition to flour and water, whereas regular noodles are made with only flour and water.
This difference in ingredients leads to a distinct taste and texture in egg noodles. They have a richer, slightly buttery taste and a chewier texture, which makes them ideal for soaking up flavorful sauces like stroganoff or alfredo.
Additionally, egg noodles are often wider and flatter than regular noodles, allowing more surface area to hold onto sauces and other ingredients.
So next time you’re in the pasta aisle, consider trying a batch of egg noodles for a unique and tasty twist on your favorite noodle dish.

What meat can I use instead of ground beef?
If you’re considering a break from ground beef, there’s no shortage of meat options that make for a delicious substitute.
One popular choice is ground turkey, which is leaner and lower in calories than beef. It’s also a great choice for those watching their cholesterol intake.
Ground pork is another tasty option, providing a slightly sweeter flavor and a moist texture.
If you’re looking for something with more of a gamey taste, try ground bison or venison. Both are lean, high in nutrients and have a distinct flavor.
For a plant-based option, you might consider lentils or beans, which can be seasoned similarly to ground beef and offer plenty of protein.
With so many choices, you will surely find a meat substitute that will spice up your meals.
