What are the best sides to pair with sweet chicken recipes?

Sweet chicken dishes pair especially well with contrasting flavors that can bring out the sweetness without being too overpowering.

Arugula salad with a lemon vinaigrette is a great way to cut through the richness of the main dish while still keeping it light.

For an extra punch of flavor, add in some roasted butternut squash and sweet onions to brighten the overall experience.

Hash browns are also an excellent accompaniment as they provide just enough salty, carb-filled crunchy goodness that plays off the sweetness perfectly. Additionally, mashed or roasted potatoes would complement this type of meal nicely.

Lastly, sautéed greens like kale or spinach will help to bring out all the flavors from the dish and give it even more depth.
