What is the internal temperature of cooked pork?
The safe internal temperature for cooked pork is 145°F (63°C), followed by a three-minute rest time. This ensures that the pork is safe to eat and retains its juices for optimal flavor and texture.
The best way to check the temperature of the meat is to use a meat thermometer. This will give you the most accurate reading to ensure that the meat is cooked and safe for consumption.

Why are my pork chops dry?
Cooking pork chops can be tricky, especially if you aim for that perfect juicy bite. The culprit is usually overcooking. Pork is a lean meat; just like poultry, it can dry out quickly if you cook it too long.
Attention to the cooking temperature is key. Aim for an internal temperature of 145°F, which is the golden rule. Use a meat thermometer to avoid guessing!
Remember the power of a good marinade or brine. These not only enhance flavor but also help keep your pork chops moist.
Try these tips and watch your pork chops get tender and delicious!
