Rolo Popcorn Recipe

Even though this recipe takes about 40 minutes to make, I can assure you that it’s totally worth the time. Make certain to have parchment paper on hand because it can get a bit sticky once you dump out this caramel corn recipe to harden.

Rolo Popcorn Recipe

Cook Time: 50 minutes
Total Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 - 8 cups popcorn
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup of dark Karo syrup
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup melted milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Rolo candies

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 225 degrees

Have two baking sheets lined with parchment paper and sprayed with cooking spray. Divide the popped popcorn between the two.

On the stovetop, melt the butter over medium heat and stir frequently. Then add in the brown sugar, salt, and syrup.

Bring to a boil then reduce and let set for 3 minutes or until candy thermometer shows 238 degrees.

Whisk in the baking soda and the vanilla. This will cause bubbles.

Pour over the popcorn and toss.

Bake for 40 minutes in the oven, tossing halfway through.

Take out of the oven and lift off the baking sheets with the parchment paper.

Once it has cooled down, drizzle with melted chocolate and Rolo.

Let cool and set before eating.
