- 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
- ¼ cup white granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup milk
- 3 tablespoons applesauce
- 2 diced fuji or granny smith apples (dice them small)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup milk

- Clean and cut the apples into small pieces.
- Add the oil to a frying pan and heat it over medium-high heat.

- Remove them from the oil and put them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Repeat to cook all fritters.
- Combine the cinnamon, powdered sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl to make the glaze. Whisk to combine.
- Add the vanilla and milk and whisk. If you need to thin it, you can add a tad bit more milk.
- Add parchment paper to a baking sheet and put a cooling rack on top.
- Take each fritter and dip it into the glaze. Flip it over to coat the entire thing, then shake off any excess.
- Place each one on the cooling rack and let the glaze set for 15 minutes.
