This is my grandmother’s recipe. She has 10 acres of Pecan Trees and when I was growing up they had over 50 acres…. consequently, I have quite a few pecan recipes.
I can remember going to my Grandmaw’s each Sunday afternoon to visit with the men as they came back from their hunt. We always had the best snacks to munch on and roasted pecans was just one of many!

Late notice because I just found this and I’m making them in 5 minutes but, do you put the skillet in the oven? Everyone else says to use a sheet pan, but I’ve tried that and when you “stir them” they fly all over the oven! So are you a genius? I think perhaps! 😁
