My boys love to eat chili so this recipe is always a hit. Since each one likes their chili a bit different, I make certain to stock up on the shredded cheese as well. And just in case anyone wants to add onion, I keep that on hand, too.
What type of beans work best for chili?
It’s really up to your preference. Chili beans and black beans are always a good choice but so are white beans and kidney beans, too.

Once of the easiest tips to make chili fast is to use precooked rotisserie chicken. It’s already cooked and ready for you.
You can also add in some chicken broth to make it have even more flavor and taste.

Crockpot Chicken Chili Recipe

Ingredients
- 2- 15.5 oz cans of Chili Beans
- 1 8-ounce can of tomato sauce
- 10-ounce package of frozen corn kernels or 1 can of corn
- 2 -10 ounces cans of diced tomatoes
- 1 packet of chili seasoning
- 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
To make your own chili seasoning, combine the below ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
Instructions
Add all the ingredients into the crockpot.
Cover the chicken completely and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
You're going to want to stir every few hours.
Once you have 30 minutes left before serving it, it's time to shred the chicken.
Next, add on the sour cream, cilantro, and shredded cheese.
Serve.
