I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for my life to get back to normal! Don’t get me wrong, I love the Holiday Season! But, I simply can not take any more of it. LOL!
You know that great menu plan I posted last week? Well, I am just going to go ahead and prepare you… I didn’t make anything on it except the New Year’s Day stuff.
We ate Christmas leftovers until they ran out, then we made other things. So, you are going to see them again.
Also, I have to get groceries because I haven’t really gotten any since Christmas. So, I am going to try to make meals that use up what we have. Wish me luck on that!
Monday – Chicken and Broccoli Casserole
Tuesday – Taco Bake
Wednesday – Leftovers
Thursday – Saucy Beef Chili
Friday – Leftovers

While I have you here, I have a question.
Hopefully you girls have some great ideas… I found that I am getting stuck in a dinner rut. I have TONS of recipes but am only using a few of the same over and over.
What do you do to be sure you are using a great variety of your recipes?

I love to watch or DVR my favorites on Food Network and get ideas for new recipes that the whole family will love…..every couple of weeks or so. Also, every now and then I sit down with my cookbooks and just flip through for something new…
Hmmm .. my comment didn’t post, for some reason.
We get stuck in a rut, too. I like to try a new recipe, or something we haven’t had in a while, once a week. I also find that MPM nudges me to be more creative.
.-= Melissa´s last blog ..Menu Plan Monday: Week of January 4 =-.
Melissa, My problem is not remembering to put all those extras into my menu.. it isn’t that I don’t have enough recipes. We just have a select few that pops into my head. I need a system to help me remember to rotate recipes. Any ideas?
