20+ Turkey Crafts and Activities for Kids

Sharing is caring!

Turkeys are not just for the Thanksgiving table, y’all. These turkey crafts and activities for kids cover paper plates, handprints, feathers, candy and even a little letter practice.

Plus most of them use stuff you already have in the craft bin. They fit right in with the rest of my Thanksgiving crafts, recipes and printables.

So whether you need one rainy afternoon project or a whole Thanksgiving week lineup, you can pick by type below.

A paper plate turkey with name feathers spelling Gabriel above three more turkey crafts: a painted bottle turkey, rhyming turkey cards and a handprint turkey with clothespin legs. Text reads Turkey Crafts and Activities for Kids.

Honestly, my boys were never really into crafts.

They liked to build with Legos, Lincoln Logs, blocks and even Play-Doh, but coloring, gluing and cutting? Not so much.

So I hired somebody to make posts like these for all the kids who do love glue and scissors.

A few of the crafts below are mine, and the rest come from kid craft bloggers I like.

Quick Picks

Short on time? Then start with one of these.

  • Easy Turkey Craft with Feathers: the lowest prep craft on the list

  • Toilet Paper Roll Fine Motor Turkey: a feather activity they can redo all month
  • Easy Lollipop Turkey: a centerpiece for the kids table
