Smores Cupcakes Recipe

I’ve been baking cupcakes for a long time, and I have to say that these are delicious. I love the chocolate and gooey marshmallow top. It does taste like a s’more!

These would be perfect for a birthday party, sleepover, or fun weekend treat. You don’t even need a bonfire to get that smores taste!

You might as well grab enough ingredients to make a second batch because the first ones will be gobbled up quickly.

How do I know when the cupcakes are done baking?

Baking cupcakes can be challenging, especially when determining if they are done. Thankfully, there are a few ways to tell if your delectable treats are ready to be removed from the oven.

One method is to use a toothpick inserted into the center of the cupcake. If it comes out clean, then your cupcakes are fully baked.

Another way to check is to press down gently with your finger on the top of the cupcake. If it bounces back without sinking, it’s ready.

Lastly, you can use the visual cue of the edges turning slightly golden brown.

Using any of these methods will ensure your cupcakes come out of the oven perfectly baked every time.

How do I freeze baked cupcakes?

If you want to preserve your cupcakes for later consumption, freezing them can be a great solution.

The first step in freezing baked cupcakes is to ensure that they are completely cooled before placing them in an airtight container.

Separating each cupcake with wax paper or parchment paper is also essential to prevent sticking. When you can defrost your cupcakes, remove them from the freezer and place them in the refrigerator overnight.

This process will allow the cupcakes to defrost slowly and prevent them from becoming soggy.

Freezing baked cupcakes not only extends their shelf life but also allows you to enjoy them at your convenience.
