How should I freeze leftover cupcakes?

When it comes to leftover cupcakes, it’s better to have a plan rather than letting them go stale on the counter. Freezing cupcakes is a great way to keep them fresh for later enjoyment.

There are several methods, but the key is to store them properly to avoid freezer burn.

One option is to wrap them individually in plastic before placing them in a freezer-safe container or Ziploc bag.

Another option is to place them in an airtight container with a layer of parchment paper between each cupcake.

Whichever method you choose, be sure to label and date the container to make it easy to keep track of when they were frozen.

Next time you’re craving a sweet treat, take a cupcake out of the freezer and let it thaw at room temperature for a few hours or in the refrigerator overnight. And voila, you have a delicious and fresh cupcake ready to enjoy!
