Specialty Ingredients:

The following ingredients are affiliate links on Amazon because they may be a bit hard to find in your normal store.  I wanted you to be able to see exactly which things we are using.

  • brownie mix
  • chopped pecans
  • caramel topping
  • chocolate syrup

Reminder, not all ingredients in the Turtle Brownies are linked above, just the ones that may be a bit difficult to find or that you might be unsure of what to look for.  Be sure to get the ingredients that the back of the brownie box calls for. You will need them!

One of my favorite things about this turtle brownie recipe is that it is so easy to make, and the results are worthy of a special indulgence or a simple dessert at home.

Must Have Resources:

When making Turtle Brownies at home, you really need to have the following Amazon affiliate tools on hand.

Spatula – A good spatula for mixing and scraping is a must when making brownies.

Measuring Cups –  A baker worth her salt knows that a good set of measuring cups is a must!

Mixing Bowl – This set is my favorite.  I use at least one every day. The rubber bottom is FABULOUS!

A great brownie pan helps to create uniform brownies and makes cutting them easy peasy. Check out my picks below!

Make it a Meal:

Main Dish: Asparagus Linguine tastes and looks as fancy as the Turtle Brownie. It is so easy to make, but also will wow your dinner companions.

Vegetable Side: Simple Carrot Salad is such a great way to add color and texture to a meal. Eating your veggies has never been so tasty!

Starch Side: Scalloped Potatoes are always a crowd pleaser. This recipe is cheesy, easy and entirely too yummy!

Refreshing Drink: Basil Infused Virgin Sangria is refreshing and easy to make. It is perfect for sharing with the family for a spring or summer meal.
