Can Heavenly Mint OREO Dessert be made ahead of time?
This dessert consists of layers of chocolate, mint, and Oreo cookie crumbs. It can be made up to two days in advance and stored in the refrigerator until it is ready to be served.
First, the dessert will need to be refrigerated for at least an hour before serving, so plan accordingly.
Second, the whipped topping will begin to deflate after a few hours, so it’s best to wait to add it just before serving.
Finally, the OREOs will soften slightly as they soak in the minty syrup, so if you prefer a crunchier cookie, you may want to add them just before serving as well.
With these considerations in mind, you can easily make Heavenly Mint OREO Dessert ahead of time and enjoy a refreshing and easy-to-make treat.
