A thin piece of steak is breaded and fried (like chicken) and then topped with gravy. It can be found in most diners and is served for breakfast or brunch.

Biscuits and Gravy

This breakfast or brunch dish is hot, creamy, and delicious. Biscuits are laid open on a plate and topped with a generous portion of sausage gravy.

Macaroni and Cheese

This comfort food can be baked with breadcrumbs on top or can be mixed with cheese sauce and poured into a casserole dish.

Reuben Sandwich

This sandwich is loaded with corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and dressing stuffed between two slices of toasted rye bread.

These German rolls are stuffed with ground beef, sliced cabbage, onions, garlic, and cheese and then baked.

Corned Beef Hash

This dish is a mixture of diced potatoes, corned beef, onions, garlic, and parsley. It’s popular on St. Patty’s Day or the day after using leftover corned beef.

This thick stew-like dish is made with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, garlic, beans, Mexican spices, and topped with sour cream, minced shallots, diced tomatoes, fried onions, or tortilla chips.

Apple Fried Hand Pies

Hand pies are perfect for eating dessert on the go. These small pies are dough stuffed with apples and then fried in oil and glazed with icing.

Pork Tenderloin Sandwich

Pork tenderloin pounded thin, breaded, and fried is perfect between two buns and topped with pickles, onions, and lettuce.
