Getting Ready to Use The Letter B Sorting Activity:

- Capital Letter B Bird Nest
- Lowercase Letter B Bird Nest
- 12 Capital Letter B Birds
- 12 Lowercase Letter b Birds
What Else Is Needed:
- Card Stock or Copy Paper
- Scissors
- Plastic Container
- Blue Shredded Paper
- Cotton Balls
- Laminator (optional)
- Laminating Pouches (optional)
To get this letter sorting activity ready for your children to use, click on the button at the bottom of this page.
Next, download and print the birds and nests on white card stock or copy paper.
You may also want to laminate the printables so your kids can reuse this activity over and over. Then, cut out the birds and nests.
To prepare the sensory bin for your children, fill a plastic container with blue shredded paper and white cotton balls.
You can also use colored rice, noodles, pom poms, or any other sensory bin filler. Finally, put the birds in the sensory bin.
How To Use The Letter B Sorting Activity:
For this letter sorting activity, your young learners will pick a bird and identify whether it has a lowercase or capital letter B on it.
They will then place the bird in the matching nest.
Your kids will continue selecting birds out of the sensory bin and putting them in the correct nest until they sort all the capital and lowercase letters.
Your preschoolers and kindergarteners are sure to have fun learning the difference between the capital and lowercase letter B in this Letter B Sorting Activity!
